German National Prize for Arts & Sciences metal Sash Badge
This badge is identical to that described in German National Prize for Arts & Sciences President's Neck badge, except that the outer edge of the wreath is silver in this case. The head of Athena has been replaced by a small gold swastika.
The reverse is again identical, save that the metal parts of the body of the badge are silver. The oval has been replaced by a spiral ring. This form is often used with Freemasons' regalia to attach various jewels to collars.
The purpose of this grade is unknown but can be premised as the First Vice President's badge. This could have been attached to the sash beneath the rosette as a sash badge.
